Clear Water & Shade on Shade
The Land

This stretch of creek has been a gathering place for generations. Sandy banks, deep swimming holes, and a stone jailhouse from the Billy the Kid days standing watch over it all.

The Swimming Hole

Deep, clear, and cool enough to wake you up. Come float all day.

The Old Jailhouse

150 years old, from the Billy the Kid days — and the fire still burns.

Campfire Nights

Primitive camping under the stars. Bring your chair, bring your friends.
The heart of the land

The fire that never went out

There's a stone jailhouse on this property older than the state of Oklahoma — back from when Billy the Kid still rode through these parts. Most of it has gone back to vine and moss now.

But the hearth still draws. Every year we light it, and it burns straight through the festival — a gathering point after dark, a little warmth against the night, and a reminder that some things outlast everything that tried to put them out.
